Too bad that no one promotes much of what we do well in Portugal in Asia. Despite the years that we have in Macau we continue to ignore that is up to each of us to help promote what is ours. Not only the portuguese egg tarts and cod cakes along with the Mateus Rosé wine.
Who knows, or remembers that in November 1st, just over 15 days in Macau will be one of the greatest groups of music in Portugal? Besides Amalia and Madredeus this should be the third best known group abroad.
There are two major music groups in Portugal today, apart from musical preferences. What matters is that they drag crowds and sell a lot. They are Moonspell, a heavymetal group and Blasted Mechanism, an experimental electronic rock band. Who had the previlige of watching them live says they are a shown not to be missed.
We will have this privilege in Macau. On November the 1st on Nam Van Lake and the admission it’s free.
It’s a pity that no one is promoting it as it should be. I believe that if the promotion is done as it should be the space of lakes would be too small to accommodate those who want to see it.
This is not a show for the Portuguese community, especially since they not even sing in Portuguese.
Blasted Mechanism is a global phenomenon, just check the success they are making in the music charts all over the world.
Promote the concert in Japan, Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong and see that the venue will be too small.
Take a peek of them in a live concert.
